Sessions

No Data Scientist? No problem!

Brajendra Singh, Amazon Web Services
As machine learning becomes more mainstream, developers and analysts are increasingly expected to apply it to their data to improve business outcomes such as reduce churn, detect fraud, identify marketing motions, predict maintenance, forecast sales, optimize inventory, and forecast financial metrics. In this session, learn how SageMaker Canvas helps quickly connect to and access data from disparate sources, and prepare data for building ML models thank to AutoML.

Brajendra is solution architect in Amazon Web Services working with enterprise customers. He has strong developer background and is a keen enthusiast for machine learning.

How the oldest dutch company is reinventing itself and becoming data-driven by using AWS. Our team started building 2018 a distributed data platform that supports Industrial IoT initiatives. The platform ingests and processes +50 million events from industrial sensors per day at the edge and stores +10billions of events in the cloud.

IAM Secure, Are You?

Geospatial Data Exploration on AWS

Ankita Gavali, Amazon Web Services
Unprecedented surge in space exploration interests and the advancement of technology in mission control, satellite manufacturing and launch systems has made geospatial data easily accessible. Many customers see the need for geospatial analytics in different applications like precision agriculture, carbon footprint monitoring, land use, container vessel monitoring etc. Geospatial data, however, has unique requirements around storage and analysis. In this session, we will take a look at how AWS storage services can be used to build highly scalable and resilient datalakes to store, process and analyze your geospatial data. We will explore services like Amazon S3, Amazon Sagemaker, Amazon Athena, AWS Glue etc. that form the basis of AWS datalake architecture and how these services accelerate the delivery of data lakes, shortening the deployment time to production from several months to a few weeks.

As AWS Solutions Architect, Ankita works with customers across Benelux. She is passionate about working backwards from customer needs and helping them solve real business problems with the power of the AWS platform.
