Join this Virtual Meetup with lightning talks about AWS Amplify Framework, AWS Amplify Console, and Sentiment Analysis with Amazon Comprehend.
Talk 1: Building Modern Web Apps with AWS Amplify
AWS Amplify is a development platform for building secure, scalable mobile and web applications. The Amplify Framework provides a set of libraries and UI components and a command line interface to build mobile backends and integrate with your iOS, Android, Web, and React Native apps. This talk is an introduction to the AWS Amplify framework and how you can create, manage, and operate a full-stack, serverless single-page application with AWS Amplify.
Speaker: Sohan Maheshwar, Developer Advocate at Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Talk 2: Building a Sentiment Dashboard with AWS Comprehend
Ever wanted to know how you can use AWS Comprehend to build a sentiment dashboard? In this talk you will learn how to use Python with AWS Comprehend and Elasticsearch to build just this kind of dashboard.
Speaker: Amer Grgic, CTO at Livebytes, Tevreden.nl and host Bits vs Bytes Podcast
Talk 3: Launching your tech blog with Hugo and AWS Amplify Console
In this talk, I’ll show how to deploy your tech blog using Hugo Framework, an open source static website generator, together with AWS Amplify Console. The AWS Amplify Console provides a Git-based workflow for deploying and hosting fullstack serverless web applications, including Hugo. It’s serverless, and supports free tier. You’ll only pay for your domain registration and Route 53, unless your tech blog becomes popular and receives a lot of traffic, and even then it’s just a few bucks.
Speaker: Martijn van Dongen, AWS Community Hero and Free Agent at HitTheCloudRunning
