Based on architectural principles, Ton Boelens explains how the service model of AWS public cloud works and what you should pay attention to from the perspective of IT infrastructure. Afterwards Jeroen Jacobs will show nice practical examples of how costs can get out of hand if you don’t pay attention with recommendations how to use AWS public cloud efficiently and effectively. Finally, Robert Verdam and Rolf Warntjes give a demonstration of what exactly the use of cloud costs and how VMware makes these costs transparent for you.
